Based on this alone, it would be understandable for Wolverine to hesitate when faced with being in the water. Logan’s son Daken, who shares his father’s powers, once died of drowning. Not to mention it enough harder for Wolverine to swim with a metal skeleton. Even with his healing abilities, Wolverine still needs air to breathe, which means he can still drown. Wolverine rarely appears underwater, and with good reason. As with all islands, Krakoa is surrounded by water – far from Wolverine’s ideal terrain – and he will need a special suit if he hopes to navigate the challenges. The current race of X-Force written by Benjamin Percy deals with the living island of Krakow and the mutant intelligence agency working to protect the nation from the secret agents trying to infiltrate it. This begs a question that few have asked, with Wolverine’s regenerative abilities, how does Logan work underwater? In a new suit similar to the one that came straight out of Ridley Scotts Prometheus, Wolverine is ready to explore unfamiliar terrain that he is rarely ever shown in: the ocean. Wolverine‘s costume gets an underwater upgrade as he embarks on important missions in upcoming issues of X-Forceand his self-titled series.
